The Railway Bar is Newry's premier weekly session. Situated at the roundabout on Monaghan St Newry. Kieran Mc Donnell, the owner, learned his accordian playing from the well known South Armagh Player Louis Mc Donnell. A core group of around ten musicians and singers provide a lively session on a thursday night and are often joined by visiting musicians from throughout Ireland and abroad.
